– An automatic shut-off feature is the whole one hour, but really it doesn’t look safe if the unit stays switched on for the whole hour. Some other models from Remington have one-minute automatic shut-off feature.
– Every time I turn the hair iron on I have to set the settings over and over again. Some models stay locked on the temperature you used last time. And personally I almost always use the same temperature and don’t change it. For example, my old iron from BabyBliss had this feature.
Final verdict
From my point of view, considering all its advantages and minor disadvantages I can rate it as 4.8 stars out of 5.0. I know it is a high number, but this model really deserves it.
The Remington manufactures are improving and developing more and more with every day. They are trying to keep already existing features at their best shape and plus they are inventing something new. The design of every their model is just unique and can’t be compared with others. It is slim, light, easy to use, with multiple settings and great performance. All they are trying to do is to make their best for the customers, all the benefits are aimed at the buyers and later users. Their customer service is very friendly and will always help you with your problem if there is any.
Though I admit that there is only one little con – 1-hour automatic shut-off feature. If they make it about 30-40 minutes long that would be perfect and will make the Remington S 9500 an ideal hair straightener.
